Gryta Camping, idyllic
spot beside the lake with views of
the two glaciers that surround the valley. This is
the place
for a ‘real’ holiday. The site offers 5 new cabins
with a
good standard and room for 80 tents, mobile homes
and
caravans. There is a mini zoo with goats and ponies,
a
playground for the little ones, a lounge with a TV.
Hire of
rowboats if you want to try your luck fishing on the
lake.
Gryta Camping has broadband and Internet connections.
The hosts know everything there is to know about the
opportunities
for trips and activities in the area. The campsite
opened in 1993, and in 1996 won the award for the
best campsite in Norway.
