At the foot of the Briksdal Glacier lies the idyllic
Trollbu
and Aabrekk Farm, which serves traditional farm food
prepared just like in the old days, most of it
produced
on the farm. You can experience the animals on the
farm
in their proper element, and stay in tastefully
renovated
buildings from the 17th and 18th centuries. They
sleep
24 and we can serve meals for up to 90 guests. From
Aabrekk Farm there is a road up to one of the lesser
known arms of the main Jostedal Glacier, the
Brenndal
Glacier, beautifully situated innermost in the
valley with
magnificent views of the surrounding countryside.
