Briksdalsbre Fjellstove (mountain lodge), which lies
in the
Briksdalen valley itself, has for generations been
owned
and run by the Briksdal family, and is now a modern
cafeteria with dining rooms for up to 600 guests.
Here
visit-ors can choose from a comprehensive menu of
both
hot and cold meals. Reindeer steaks, mountain trout
and
our special salads are all popular choices. In the
souvenir
centre next door we offer a selection of quality
souvenirs
that you had never expected to find in the fairytale
world
of the Briksdalen valley. We accept the majority of
credit
cards and you can shop Tax Free if you are
travelling
abroad. The mountain lodge has a cabin to let and 6
double rooms with hotel standard in the basement of
the
souvenir centre. In the barbecue shelter
‘Nakkjestova’ in
the activity park we can serve barbecue menus to
groups
that prefer to eat in the open air.
